RPL clusters of units of competency, qualification requirements and assessment methods
Based on the SCS formulated by the Industry, the RPL mechanism is conducted in the form of clusters of units of competency. Applicants may apply for clusters of suitable QF level based on their relevant working experience.

Relevant Working Experience
The 5-year transitional period for the RPL recognition via verification of supporting documents for the clusters of Plumbing Engineering (Level 1 to 3) will be ended on 28 Jan 2023 (Saturday). In-person applicants applying for the following clusters, must submit the application on or before 27 Jan 2023 (Friday) during office hours; while applicants submitting applications by post, the mail should be postmark with the date on or before 28 Jan 2023 (Saturday) for VTC processing. For any applications submitted after 28 Jan 2023 (Saturday), the assessment method shall be interview only.
